The whole world turned into a conflict zone. Every nation wants to spread its tentacles over others. In concurrent time major superpower USA and others like China, UK, France, Japan and Russia are in a contest to dominate the world. China wants to become a superpower to dictate the world on its terms. Several other regional powers want to show their might. The United Nation stopped several conflicts to escalate into a world war. During the 90s world observed a major war between the Iraq and America led alliance. The battle ensured the decimation of Iraq supremo Saddam Hussein was confined and later hanged. Libyan's autocrat Muammar Gaddafi also faced the same fate. Saddam and Gaddafi's fate alerted other autocrats. Every nation vies with each other to boost its defence technology and garrison. In modern days, battles were not fought on the ground. Traditional warfare is a thing of the past. Sophisticated war technologies replaced the ground battle. Major powers are looking for sophisticated weapons to inflict a major blow to their foes. The outcome of this mindset propelled the introduction of ultra-modern weapons and technologies, which were potent enough to annihilate the universe in a couple of seconds.

Nuclear weapons were introduced during the Second World War and Japan was at the receiving end. The USA was the first nation to introduce nuclear weapons, followed by the then USSR. Nuclear weapons also deterred the two superpowers from being involved in any kind of conflict. At present except USA and Russia couple of other countries also possessed nuclear weapons, i.e. China, UK, France, and India. According to the latest media report, countries like Israel, North Korea, Iran also developed nuclear weapons. Nuclear weapons are a major talisman for the safety and security of nations. The defence technologies were not restricted to nuclear weapons. In the last couple of decades, we have observed the introduction of several other weapons, which have enough devastating power to crippled humanity in a couple of seconds. Fifth-generation fighter jets, intercontinental ballistic missile, ballistic missile defence systems, advanced missile and fighter jets tracking radar, rail guns, swarm drones are the latest introduction of modern technologies.

In the 21st century, the USA, Russia, China, India are in the process of producing devastating weapons to choke their competitors. India has developed a unique weapon that keeps her ahead of traditional foe China. The name of the weapon is KALI. India is encircled by traditional enemies China and Pakistan. China took major initiatives to modernize its defence structure in the last two decades. China's current regime spends billions of dollars to develop modern weapons. India and Israel have a lot of similarities. Israel withstands their foes with the help of modern weapons and a robust army. From the words go, India did not allocate a huge budget to boost their defence, unlike China. Chinese defence expenditure is a couple of times higher compared to India. For the last decade, India has also started to enhance its defence infrastructure. DRDO (Defense Research & Development Organization) with the collaboration of ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization) developed multiple weapons. Intercontinental Missiles Surya (range of 8000 kilometres), anti-ballistic missile defence system, processed the development of 5th generation fighter jets (AMCA), rail gun, swarm drones etc. are the outcome of these initiatives. These weapons will give India an edge over China in conflict of interest.

India has been working on a secret weapon called KALI (Kilo Ampere Linear Injector) for the last three decades. The Indian government has yet to disclose the programme. A couple of analysts predicted that KALI should be a laser weapon. Unlike any laser weapon, KALI does not grill or melt the targeted elements. Its major task is to defang the enemy's fighter jet, missile. India is the only country that has developed this unique weapon. KALI is the outcome of collaboration between DRDO and BARC (Bhabha Atomic Research Center). The programme was initiated in 1989 under the supervision of Dr R. Chidambaram, chairman of the Atomic Energy Commission. It took almost two decades to built star wars type Directed Energy Weapons (DEWS), which consists of high power microwaves. KALI will release pulses of the relativistic electron beam, which will inactivate the enemies missiles, fighter jets, without any impact on the periphery. The highly powerful microwaves will destroy the electronic system and computer chips of the targeted weapons. The targeted missiles, jets, drones will fall like dead birds. KALI alone will turn defence most impregnable. There are six different categories of KALI i.e. KALI 80, KALI 100, KALI 200, KALI 1000, KALI 5000 and the last one is KALI 10,000. The microwaves released from KALI can destroy any satellite, UAV; has all the potential to become a future star war weapon. DRDO is in the process of transforming KALI into a microwave gun. India will use KALI 5000 and KALI 10,000 as a talisman against any incoming missile or supersonic fighter jet. KALI 100 has all the potential to deter any drone of our hostile neighbours.

A number of defence analysts predicted that KALI is a laser weapon to destroy the projectiles of the enemy. KALI is more effective than a laser weapon. Laser weapons enable the creation of holes on missiles or fighter jets. KALI is capable to inactivate any incoming fighter jets or missiles by destroying the electronic system and computer chips in no time. Laser weapons take a lot of time to create the expected hole. China is well aware of the effectiveness of KALI and tried to produce similar weapons in vain. Both DRDO and BARC are working in tandem to make it a more compact and multi-user weapon system. A robust India with advanced weapon systems will withstand Chinese aggression and provide a much-needed talisman for several other small countries in the Indo-Pacific region from the clutches of China.
