Conflict Of Interest - Israel V/S Hamas

Israel and Arabs have a prolonged history of conflicts of interest, begins in the 1940s. Post the second world war persecuted Jewish from all over Europe thronged in Palestine, which was occupied by Arab Muslims. Jewish claims the region as  their holy place. The territory was previously part of the Ottoman Empire, latter British annexed the area under its empire. The British empire failed to provide a resolution to the conflict between Arab-Jewish, which resulted in prolonged conflict between two communities that belong to the same ancestor. United Nations also disastrously failed to provide an amicable solution to the internecine conflict. Jewish claims that Jerusalem is the origin of two-thousand-year-old Jewish religion and culture.

The clash of interest between Jewish-Arab hatched two major conflicts in 1948 and 1967, resulted in the complete decimation of Arab from the high craving area. The victory had fortified the emerging Jewish state, which most of the Arab nations consider as a bane for Middle-East Asia. Israel defeated the alliance of seven Arab nations and occupied both West Bank and Gaza. The non-Arab country like Iran also frisked into the conflict and supports militant group Hamas, which fights for the cause of wretched Arabs of the conflict zone. There is a major distinction between Gaza and West Bank. In West Bank Jewish build their colony and Israeli troops patrolling the territory, which is controlled by the Palestine government. Gaza is swarmed by Arab settlers and controlled by Hamas.

The conflict was started when Israeli troops entered the sacred Al-Aqsa mosque in May 2021 and brushed aside the Palestinian people. On the same day, the Israeli president was giving a speech to commemorate the death of Israeli fighting for their homeland. The conflict between Israeli and Hamas started one month after that eventful day. Hamas militants fired thousands of missiles on the civilian of Jewish territory. It seems that the Hamas group was waiting for the moment for too long to show their missile muscle and rule the heart of the dilapidated Palestine community. Hamas fired almost 3,000 missiles on Israel, most of which were intercepted by Israel anti-ballistic missile defence system (Iron Dome).

The Israeli raised the volley of attacks, as aircrafts pounded over many multistories buildings which sheltered Hamas militants, from where they launched thousands of missiles on Israel. The ensuing clashes killed 215 Palestinians and 12 Israelis. Almost 1,200 multistoried buildings inside the Palestinian territories were razed. The butt of Israeli attacks was the 130-200 underground tunnels of Hamas, which sheltered thousands of militants and most of the tunnels were damaged. This has severely decimated Hamas strength. The silos which contained arms, ammunitions were jutted. The huge casualties didn't dent the morale of Hamas militants and they had started mortar attacks on the border area, which halted the movement of trucks carrying aid for war-ravaged Palestinians. According to the UN, Palestinians suffered worse with 40,000 people were displaced and 2,500 people lost their homes. The infrastructure of the war-torn territory was collapsed. The Israeli fighter jets flattened four high rise buildings of the media, where Hamas militants took Hamas militia implanted their base in the civilian area where congestion of multi-storied buildings is too high. The Israeli army does not have any other option other than to target this multistoried building to cease this barrage of missiles attack of Hamas. Some of the guided missiles launched by Hamas fell on Gaza and increased the tally of the casualties of the Palestine side. Hamas treated its own civilians as a talisman against the onslaught. According to Israel Defence System (IDF), 130 to 200 Palestinians killed belong to Hamas militant organization. Office-bearers of the Palestine health ministry stated that 80-100 Palestinians who perished were women and children. It seems that some untidy games are played by the Palestine Authority. The Israeli military officials warned the administration of al-Jalala tower about the imminent airstrike on the multistoried building, which allowed the authority of the building to purge the building. Thus all the dwellers of the building remained unscathed.

Conflict of Interest - Impact On Palestine Economy

The ensuing conflict between Israeli force and Hamas militants organization turned a swathe of Palestine's land into rubble. The conflict of interest dealt a telling blow to the already dwindling economy, with half of the population are jobless and 2,500 people living under the sky. For a prolonged time, international economists believe that the continuous supply of monetary funds from IMF (International Monetary Fund) will reduce the raze of hate for Israeli from the mind of Palestinians, which proves to be an erroneous concept. Palestine economy for a long time is in the quagmire of underdevelopment. The agriculture and industrial sector remained standstill for one decade. Palestine economy overtly depends on Israel. Almost 40% of the total Palestine labour force worked to boost the Israeli economy. Export and import of Palestine parched on the hood of Israel. A vast Palestine population living under the poverty line accounted for 23% of the total population. The average per capita income is swindle around $1651. The trade deficit is swelled its periphery every passing year. The ensuing battle will reduce the 46% GDP of West Bank and 10% of Israel of the financial year 2023-24.

Influence of Iran Over Palestine

Iran for a prolonged time involved in clash with Israel due to conflict of interest. Iran has been helping Palestine militant organizations with arms and weapons to wage a war against arch-rival Israel. Iran has applauded Hamas for inflicting a loss on Israel during the 11 days of the war. Experts assumed that a barrage of unguided missiles fired by Hamas on Israeli territories was supplied by Iran. Not only arsenal, but Iran provides adequate training to Hamas militants to destabilize Israel. Israel was also involved in clandestine attacks on Iran's nuclear facility, to cripple the later plan to become an Islamic nation with nuclear weapons. Iran can not wage a full-scale war against mighty Israel. Full-scale war will raze the already dilapidated economy of Iran, which was bruised by multiple economic sanctions by IMF and the US. Iran due to feeble technology fails to counter multiple covet attacks of Israel on its arsenal and various other infrastructure including nuclear set-up. Iran views the Hamas missile attacks on Israel as a major deterrence against future Israeli covets attacks on Iran soil. It seems that Iran will supply arms and ammunition to Hamas through underground tunnels, which Israeli intelligence refers to as metro.

Impact of Israel-Hamas Conflict on World Politics

The recent conflict between the Israeli army and Hamas militant organization will have a huge influence over world politics. The Hamas militant organization is supported by Iran, Qatar and Turkey. On the other hand, Israel's morale is bolstered by the support of the US and various nations of European unions, which had taken all the initiatives to trivialised Hamas and other Islamic militant organizations of Gaza. The Palestine authority which controls West Bank for a long time stay neutral and does not show any intention to frisk into the ongoing conflict of interest between Israel and Hamas. Long-lasting peace in middle-east is a distant dream. Israel has all the right to save its territory from militant attacks of Hamas. Any further escalation of the current ongoing conflict between Israel- Hamas will place the middle- east into the smouldering cauldron.
