India already successfully blocked China in Ladakh. The US needs to enhance cooperation with India, which is a power to reckon with in the Indian Ocean region. India's dominance over the Indian ocean will block the emergence of China as the single largest power in the Asia-Pacific region. Newly elected vice-president of US Kamala Harris stated that Trump lost the battle against China as later one dominates trade war.

Chinese President Xi Jinping tries to reduce the Chinese dependence on the US and strengthen the internal market.
