Conflict Of Interest - Black-White-Other Origin

Racism is brewing a lot of trouble for the USA and the rest of the world. Racism does not mean clashes between black and white community. Racism exists in several other forms i.e. hate campaigns against Hispanics, Asians. Racism is not part of the First World Country but exists in other parts of the world too. In the Middle East, Non-Islamic Yazidis have fallen prey to the atrocities of Islamic zealots. Same atrocities against minorities observed in third world countries line, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Afghanistan. Here Islamic zealots were the perpetrators and religious minorities are at the receiving end.

Racism spreads its tentacle all over the world. Racism and colonialism are opposite parts of the same coin. We cannot solely blame colonialism for the spread of racism. Racism is an inalienable part of human nature, can be found in different shapes in different countries. Colonialism adds more vigour to the worst vice of humanity. People of colonies suffered very badly, which inspired them to initiate the freedom movement to get rid of colonial rule and emancipated themselves from racism.

We can attribute two World Wars to conflict of interest between Germany and Britan, France. During the 40s, the German chancellor Adolf Hitler initiated the second world war to prove the racial superiority of Aryans. The world had to pay a heavy price in the form of human loss. Various conflicts scattered in different eras of human civilization are the outcome of racism. Colonial powers of different centuries tried to substantiate that their race is superior and got all the rights by birth to rule the world to spread the rays of civilization to the rest of the world.

Recent Chinese aggression against small and trivial nations is the racism of different kinds and forms. Han Chinese want to demonstrate that they are the superior race in comparison to other races and have all the right to dominate the rest of the world.

The recent ghastly killing of George Floyd shook humanity. Protests broke out not only in the USA but every nook and corner of the world. The life of every human being is precious notwithstanding the skin colour. Some perverted souls do not believe in equality, consider themselves as flag bearers of their race and look down upon the people with different hues as inferiors. The ghastly killing of George Floyd is the outcome of this kind of partisan view. The killing of George Floyd is an insult to humanity and the worst form of human slaughter. The incident placed the USA in a smouldering cauldron and caused a huge economic loss. Thousands of properties, vehicles, and buildings were destroyed. Arsonists did not spare the school of kids. This is not the sole incident of police brutality. The homicide left a deep impact on the mind of Black Americans and initiated the movement called "Black Life Matter". During this critical juncture, better response from the police force would have mitigated the pain from marginalized people. The harsh attitude of cops adds salt to the injuries. The peaceful movement later turned into a violent outburst. Peace-loving people of the movement were replaced by rabble-rousers. Plunders, arsons and destruction became the new norms of the movement. Trust deficit between the law enforcement body and agitated community provides tinder to the movement, which spreads anarchy in the peaceful society. Floyd incident is not a single incident of this kind. Kindred incidents happened in the recent past and culprits were Scot free to mock the morbidity of marginalized Black Americans.

The Covid19 pandemic increased the counts of hate crimes against Blacks and Asians and both the communities became the butt of a racial slur. One needs to blame the brawny attitude of the American police department, which reflects the colonial mentality of British colonialists. The severe outcome is the consistent persecution of the Black community. The attitude of Donald Trump followed the same beeline and added more tinder to the incessant flame of racial despise. The behaviour of Donald Trump did not reflect the president of America. A nonchalant attitude helps the movement reach the cliff.

Some ghastly murders of people belonging to the Black community happened in juxtaposition in the recent past, besmirching the justice system of America.

a). On 17th July 2014 Eric Garner was choked to death by a New York police officer

b). Teenager Michael Brown was killed by a police officer of Missouri for the negligible crime of stealing a box of cigar

c). Tamir Rice, a 12 years old boy was killed in a police shootout for wagging a fake gun at passers-by

d). Walter Scott was shot to death by vigilant police for involving in talks tug of war

e). Alton Sterling was killed by a cop for creating ruckus outside a shop

f). Philando Castile was killed while trying to show the licence of his gun

g). Stephen Clerk was killed due to raising a false alarm

h). Breoma Taylor was killed by the police force, as she and her partner assiduously picked up a police team as a gang of burglar

In the above-mentioned incidents, culprits were never punished and families of perished persons considered this as a denial of justice. Now deceived Black Americans engulfed by frustration and deep-rooted anger. There should be a drastic change in the modus operand of the American police force to gain the confidence of marginalized peoples. Failure to do so would plant the seeds of future civil war. A responsible police force would be able to douse the fire of conflict of interest between black and white.
