The above mentioned reason altered haunted places as the most unique tourist spots. Here we will venture some of the daunting haunted places, turned into a nestle for departed spirit.

1. Bhangarh Fort of Rajasthan, India: Bhangarh fort is one of the scarring, mysterious places in India. The mostly deserted place has its own history to awe people throughout centuries. Even the Archaeological Survey of India, prohibited the entry of any human being after dusk set in. The fort was built by the king of Amber, Raja Bhagwant Singh in 1573 AD. The cavernous fort later turned into a haunted place due to the curse of a priest, who had mastery on black magic. The priest fell in love with beautiful princes Ratnavati. He tried to use black magic to trap the princess and failed miserably. The priest cursed the fort to turn into a haunted place. The place wore a deserted look and anybody entered the fort post dust, failed to come out live.

2. Kuldhara, Rajasthan: Jaisalmer is one of the famous places for tourism. Millions of tourists all over the world flocked here to view the architectural beauty of forts, temples, palaces and several other monarchical structures. Architectural beauty is not the sole feature to attract tourists all over the world. Wilderness, ghastly stories of some haunted place attracts people from every nook and corner of the universe. Kuldhara village is one of the haunted places, scaring people for centuries. The hauntedness was rooted to a decision of a cruel prime minister of the princely state, Salim Singh alias Jalim Singh. He was attracted to the beauty of the daughter of Paliwal Brahmin community chief and expressed his  desire to tie the knot with her. Salim SIngh also stated that declining his proposal would result in heavier leavy. The Paliwal Brahmin Community left the village under the cover of darkness and cursed the village to be inhabitable permanently. No one failed to trace the community. Locals still believe that ghosts are still roaming the village and felt the uncanny presence of an unseen entity.

3. Shaniwar Wada, Pune: Shaniwar Wada,  a fort, turned into a haunted house after night, when the cry of a boy resonated every stone wall and reached to the cliff of mountains. The story was related to the murder of a boy and successor of Peshwa throne. The scream "kaka mala vacha", which can be translated into "uncle save me" would surely melt your heart. The boy was murdered by marauders sent by his aunty and wife of Raghunath Rao. The somber beauty of the fort and surrounding will attract you for future visit.

4. Dow Hill, Karseong: West Bengal: The picturesque place on the lap of a mountain, surrounded by Himalayan trees. One of the most beautiful in India. The hill station also sheltered a couple of ghosts, mostly the departed spirit of childrens. Locals frequently observed the headless boy, walking down the road and disappeared into the vaulted darkness of forest. Departed souls of those killed in accidents roaming here and sometimes wreck havoc for visitors.

5. Agrasen Ki Baoli in Delhi: The Agrasen Ki Baoli, is the well, built by an anonymous person. The well is 60 meters long and 15 meters wide. Couple of years back the well was filled with black water. Whoever touched the water, experienced the feeling of drowning arising in their mind. Visitors quite often feel that someone followed them, when turned back they find no one. The well testified many suicides and departed souls ventured around the surrounding of the well.

6. Hoia-Baciu Forest, Romania: Hoia-Baciu is called the Bermuda Triangle of Transylvania. It seems that time has stopped here. Stanley Hotel, Estes Park, Colorado: Stanley Hotel sheltered a couple of ghosts and turned out to be one of the haunted places of America, which instigates Stephen King to write the world famous novel "The Shining." The hotel was the brainchild of Freelan Oscar Stanley, who visited Colorado to get rid of tuberculosis. He recovered his health in a short period of time and vowed to visit the place every year. Later he built Stanley Hotel and died at the age of 91. Residents of the place feel the presence of unearthly entities.

8. Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum:Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum is famous for paranormal incidents. The center stage is the Weston State Hospital, constructed in the 1800s. Most enegmetic thing is that the hospital was constructed by a mentally challenged person Thomas Story Kirkbirde. The hospital provides unique facility to its patients to roam freely on the premises, garden. Later the hospital turned out to be a congested one with battered food quality. Here departed souls roam freely; mostly were tortured and spent their life in solitary cages.

9.  Fort Mifflin,Philadelphia: Fort was built in 1771, to protect the pompous of city Philadelphia. The fort was razed by soldiers of General George Washington and rebuilt on 18th century. The fort witnessed the heroics of soldiers who fought till their last breath. Winchester Mystery House in San Jose, California: The Winchester Mystery House was built by Sarah Winchester was cursed to be haunted by those who were killed by Winchester rifle.She built the house to trap those evil spirits. Departed soul of Mr. Winchester advised her construction of the house should be continued and any break will cause her death. Employees who worked for Sarah Winchester stayed in the house after their death. One of them is Mr. Cledy, a bearded man frequently observed pushing the wheelbarrow. Tourists felt the touch of unearthly hands.

11. The King Tavern of Mississippi: The King Travern of Natchez is one of the oldest buildings of the town. The building was brought by Richard King. Richard fell in love with a waitress, named Madeline. She was killed by Richard's wife. The departed soul of Madeline stayed in the building permanently. Visitors quite frequently listened to the cry of a baby from upstairs, who was killed by Wiley Harpe, the first serial killer of the town.

The most precious question comes to our mind, whether the stories related to haunted houses or places are real or imaginary. A significant number of scientists believe that stories related to paranormal activities are orchestrated. Those hyped stories were believed by persons suffering from sleep deprivation, or by those who spends most of the time in an anonymous world. Other groups of scientists believed that exposure of buildings or monuments famous for paranormal activities to various chemicals, vapour, acute fragrance of heath or shrubs creates a unique surroundings, which forced us to believe in paranormal activities or existence of celestial world. Still a prime number of paranormal activities can not be explained by above mentioned theories. Here the need for scientific investigation arises.
